On this page 6 sections
1. Products and legal classification
Attach the current legal or compliance analysis used by the business and record its checked date.
Do not rely on a broad statement such as Farm Bill compliant. It does not tell an underwriter what is made, how it is made, where it is sold, or which source supports the current classification.
2. Manufacturing and supply-chain responsibility
Identify the entities and locations responsible for sourcing, extraction, conversion, formulation, manufacturing, testing, batch release, labeling, packaging, storage, distribution, complaints, withdrawal, and recall.
Explain new co-manufacturers, laboratories, suppliers, equipment, processes, locations, and formats. The submission should describe both the written allocation of responsibility and what happens in practice.
3. Geography and sales channels
Distinguish wholesale, retail, e-commerce, direct-to-consumer, marketplace, distributor, and private-label activity.
Record changes to age controls, shipping restrictions, retailer requirements, platform rules, payment providers, or state-specific product strategy.
4. Inventory, contracts, and the transition plan
Separate raw material, work in process, bulk extract, packaging, finished goods, consigned goods, returns, receivables, and inventory held by third parties. Show average and peak values by owner and location, then connect those values to the transition calendar.
Review change-of-law, return, termination, destruction, warranty, indemnity, insurance, and recall provisions with qualified advisers. Identify which unsold inventory or contractual obligation could remain if a product, package, channel, or jurisdiction must change.
5. Testing, complaints, incidents, and controls
Update testing protocols, certificates, batch linkage, deviations, complaints, adverse events, withdrawals, recalls, regulatory contacts, litigation, losses, and corrective actions. Identify any new fire, pressure, solvent, contamination, utility, security, cargo, cyber, or equipment exposure.
Package the renewal update into verified facts, planned changes, outstanding documents, specialist questions, and material changes already disclosed through the approved channel. The objective is one current account record, not a legal or coverage conclusion.
Sources
Use controlling primary sources for legal or regulatory status. Reported context is attributed separately and should not replace the operative document.
