General information

Our guides, articles and general website descriptions provide information about insurance topics. They are not a determination of the coverage, eligibility or legal requirements for a particular account. They are not legal, tax or regulatory advice. Requirements and available products can change, and an individual account may require additional review.

Quotes, indications and coverage

General website content and outputs identified as nonbinding indications do not themselves create, bind, renew or change insurance. Submitting information, requesting a quote or receiving an automated acknowledgment does not itself place coverage in effect.

Coverage must be bound through an insurer or representative with the appropriate authority. The applicable binder, policy, endorsements and law determine the coverage and its effective date. Request confirmation of the coverage placed and review the actual documents. An authorized quote or transaction document is governed by its own terms; this page does not override it.

Descriptions and examples do not list every term, exclusion, condition, limitation, deductible, premium, tax or fee. Availability and pricing depend on the account, state, insurer, underwriting review and applicable terms. An indication is not a guarantee of a final quote or acceptance.

Claims and policy service

Use the claim-reporting instructions in your policy and the designated service channels for your account. Observe all applicable notice and other deadlines. For an emergency, contact the appropriate emergency services first.

The general inquiry form is not designed for urgent claims, cancellation, binding or deadline-sensitive policy changes. An automated receipt confirms an inquiry, not coverage or completion of a service request. If a matter is urgent, use the applicable carrier or account service contact and confirm receipt. Nothing here overrides legally effective notice or the duties of an authorized insurer or representative.

A certificate of insurance summarizes information; it does not itself add or amend coverage. A payment or payment request does not by itself establish that coverage is effective. Refer to the applicable insurance and payment documents.

State and insurer differences

Insurance services are provided only through the licenses and authority appropriate to the transaction. A reference to a coverage, state or industry does not establish eligibility or availability for a particular account. See our Licensing page.

Some placements may involve nonadmitted or surplus lines insurers, with regulatory and guaranty-fund protections that differ from admitted insurance. The disclosures required for the actual state and placement will be provided through the applicable transaction process. This general explanation does not replace them.

External services and changing information

When a link takes you to a separately operated service, review that service's terms and privacy notice. Insurance documents and verified instructions for your account take priority over general website summaries. Contact sales@carma365.com if you find an error or need help identifying the appropriate service channel.

Rights and responsibilities

These explanations do not exclude responsibility that cannot lawfully be excluded, change the terms of an actual insurance contract, or waive legally protected rights. Separate agreements govern any services or transactions covered by them.
