Account brief

## What to know

**Workers compensation at renewal**

Minnesota Office of Cannabis Management renewal guidance requires license holders to provide workers compensation information in compliance with Minnesota law or an applicable exception attestation.

**Transportation evidence**

OCM's current final-plan guidance identifies financial responsibility for cannabis transporters, including at least $300,000 for loss of or damage to cargo, $1 million for injury to one or more persons in one accident, and $100,000 for injury to or destruction of property of others in one accident.

**Minnesota submission checklist**

Legal entity, exact OCM license, endorsements, locations, and local registrations

## Workers compensation at renewal

The current renewal instructions identify the carrier, policy or self-insurance number, and coverage dates as required information.

## Transportation evidence

Confirm applicability, acceptable evidence, and the current form for the exact license and activity.

## Minnesota submission checklist

- Legal entity, exact OCM license, endorsements, locations, and local registrations

- Final site, security, operations, inventory, quality, tax, and vehicle plans

- Workers compensation or exception documentation

- Vehicles, drivers, radius, cargo, cash, security, and transport evidence where applicable

- Products, ingredients, testing, packaging, labels, storage, and distribution

- Property, equipment, plants or stock, revenue, payroll, values, losses, and requested coverage

## Resolve evidence gaps before renewal or market review

Reconcile the legal entity, exact OCM license, endorsements, locations, activities, employees, and vehicles with the current renewal and final-plan records. If an exception or alternate form of evidence applies, keep the supporting record with the submission and identify who confirmed it.

Transportation details should connect the vehicle, driver, route, cargo, security, and financial-responsibility evidence to the licensed activity. Property, product, inventory, revenue, payroll, loss, and requested-coverage information still require their own account review.

- Confirm the current OCM form and instruction for each license and activity

- Match workers compensation or exception records to the employing entity

- Match transport evidence to the vehicle, driver, cargo, and route

- Flag missing schedules, loss information, or unresolved policy questions
